We had the best time on Moonhole and Beachfront Villa/Generation Gap was one of the most unique/authentic "houses." It may be a bit rustic for some, but it was perfect for us. It's simple, it's elegant, it's private, and it's comfortable. It's that New York loft in the Caribbean. After night fall, it was just beautiful, with the many small oil (or it was gas) lights lining on the stone steps, the ocean on our door steps, the shadows of the trees, and the full moon up (we were lucky). Mantua & Family, New York, U.S.A. Dear Jim & Sheena. Our stay at Moonhole - it was so great we could write a book about it. Moonhole was the perfect place to take a break from our busy lives. For us vacation is about the 3 R's: Relax, Re-connect, and Re-create. Moonhole provided everything we needed. A typical day: Wake up to the sound of waves breaking softly on the beach below your room. Eat a home-made breakfast prepared by a wonderful cook. Go to town and buy fresh fruit and vegetables, swim, snorkel, sit in town sipping a cold drink just watching the boats and people pass by. Come home to a clean room and the smells of another great meal waiting for you. Walk up the stone path and stairs to the dining area, sit at the heart shaped table and look out at the ocean and the pink and blue skies of sunset. Don't worry about cleaning up - it's all taken care of. Head back to our cozy bedroom following the path illuminated by the warm glow of lanterns carefully placed by the thoughtful staff, do a little reading until the lap, lap, lap of the waves folds our eyes down for another restful night. Other things we loved: No TV, No Phone, No Video Games, No Email, Great hosts (Jim and Sheena), Fantastic, friendly staff (Flora and Petrona), Nice people everywhere we went, beautiful flowers, beautiful warm water and a steady warm breeze. I can't imagine another place like it in the world. My stay there could not have been any better. The staff was excellent and both of you couldn't have been better hosts. So much more than being "staff," they informed and enhanced all of our activities and experiences. They did everything to make us comfortable and happy - with grace, ease & sincerity. As we said on our departure we couldn't believe how much more enjoyable Moonhole was from what we expected by your website. While Beachfront Villa was a little slice of heaven, one of the things we enjoyed most was getting reconnected with our teenagers. What a blessing!
