11th - First Day of Fishing Boat Races
9:00am Start of first Fishing Boat Race - the
PEPSI CHALLENGE at Lower Bay;
finish off the wharf at Paget Farm
9:00am Start of this day’s J24 Class
three-race Series
10:00am Start of Around Bequia Yacht Race in
Admiralty Bay; finish in Lower Bay
5:30pm Bequia Sailing Club and Sponsors’ Get
Together Party at Sailors Cafe,
Ocar (dinghy dock nearby). Yacht races results and daily prize-giving.
All race participants and Sailing Club members invited.
Sunday April
12th - Lay Day at Lower Bay & Friendship Beach
8:30am Start of Single-handed Around Bequia
Yacht Race in Admiralty Bay;
finish in Lower Bay
9:00am Start of second Fishing Boat Race - the
HEINEKEN CHALLENGE at Friendship;
finish off Hamilton Point, then down to Lower Bay
9:00am Sandcastle/Sand Sculpture Competition -
west end of Friendship Beach
12:02pm Crazy Craft Race, west end of Friendship
Beach
(Sandcastle and Crazy Craft competitions may be
re-located to Lower Bay if sea and/or beach conditions are adverse in
Friendship.
