23 year-old Niki Nicole’s musical journey began at the tender age of 3 while performing at her pre-school graduation ceremony. Although that seems like a lifetime ago, she vividly remembers the joy and excitement she experienced in that one moment on stage which became an early catalyst for her singing career.

Niki began singing extensively in her church, at school and under the guidance of her family of great singers themselves; she even began entering competitions pushing against the door of opportunity where she would either win or be the runner-up.

Niki Nicole’s love for performing has been inspired by legendary R&B/Soul artists like Whitney Houston, Aretha Franklin & Patti Labelle  and it’s no surprise that in her teen years, she  became well-known for her soulful renditions of many R&B ballads.

Today, Niki is working on her music which is influenced by some of the industry’s biggest stars such as Beyonce, Alicia Keys and Rihanna. She has also become an often requested lead and background vocalist and has worked with many of Barbados’ leading performers including: recently signed Motown artiste Hal Linton, Virgin’s J-Co and Beluga’s Livvi Franc.

In 2007, Niki Nicole shared the stage with the Queen of Soul herself, Patti Labelle at The Barbados Hilton. Labelle was so blown away by her performance that just before leaving the stage she said “You got it, don’t you ever give up!”
